More Big White Fun

Some Old Growth trees we discovered in the more obscure parts of Gem Lake chair. Because trees grow so slowly at this elevation, this one is certainly hundreds of years old.

Frank's favourite jump. 3-4 meters depending how fast you hit it, the landing puts you exactly at our ski-in entrance

Our buddy Mike stops to catch his breath.

Falcon Chair, Frank's favourite chairlift

Frank and Chelsea pause for reflection before skiing the Cliff Bowl

Ski Patrol doing Avalanche control at Cliff Chair.

This Mega Icicle grew over the course of 2 days over our back window.

Big White So Far... 2013/14

Starting work as the sun begins to peek over the horizon.

Ready to go patrol the mountain!

Frank beginning his work day as Slope Watch...

There are some colourful characters on the slopes at Big White...here's a giraffe and flying squirrel.

Slope watch Chris.

Our tasty Christmas Dinner for two.

Going on a nordic ski tour on Big White's cross country trails.

The sunny weather and clear blue skies made for perfect cross country skiing conditions.

It was a great way to cover ground quickly and get some exercise. It made for a really fun outing.

Ice climbing night with some of our fellow patrollers and slope watchers.

Chelsea and Frank racing to the top.
